How does the proxy vote engine works:
- Click on list of proxy votes: the system will ask you for the ID and password the contact person of your institution received when you registered with IGeLU. Most of the IGeLU members may have 2 logins/passwords. They may use the password given to you for voting the enhancements/proxy (not the one given to you for accessing documentation). In case you cannot remember your ID and/or password, don’t hesitate to contact the IGeLU's secretariat at
secretariat_AT_igelu_DOT_org. (replace _AT_ with @ and _DOT_ with .)
- Click on 'vote': the system will open a form and your institutional ID will appear in the 'code' field;
- Write your name as the submitting person (please remember that only one person can vote for each institution and the system keeps your IP address in its memory) - Select the institution to which you are giving the authorization for the proxy vote in your name.
- To facilitate your selection we asked the National user groups to provide us with the name of one or two contact persons who will take care to collect and to exercise the proxy vote. The list of volunteers who answered this call is available on the web engine. You are free to select the institution or the person you prefer. Please be aware that each institution needs to be up-to-date with the payment of the annual fee in order to exercise its right to vote or to give the authorization for a proxy vote.
